For nearly 200 years, Alfred University has been creating life-changing opportunities for students to experience an outside-of-ordinary education. We have the responsibility to strengthen those opportunities for future generations of students. By partnering with alumni and friends of the University, we can secure our goals for students by providing support through an endowed scholarship or a Saxon Circle Scholarship.

Endowed Scholarships

Your gift of $25,000 or more to establish an endowed scholarship in your name or in memory of someone provides scholarship support for students for generations to come. Your gift will be invested to support the philanthropic objectives you designate. You can select unrestricted for your endowed scholarship, which helps deserving students who demonstrate financial need, or you can choose to support students in a specific department or program area.

Saxon Circle Scholarships

An annual scholarship is a valuable way to support talented Alfred University students during their undergraduate education. Saxon Circle Scholarships open doors of opportunity, helping students overcome financial barriers, making college more accessible, and positioning them for success in school and beyond.

Your Investment

Your gift of a Saxon Circle Scholarship is a commitment of $5,000 annually for four years and will support a student throughout their Alfred University education. You can designate a Saxon Circle Scholarship as unrestricted, supporting deserving students who demonstrate financial need, or you can choose to support students in a specific department or program area.

As a Saxon Circle Scholarship donor, Alfred University recognizes you as one of our outstanding Saxon Circle members. Scholarship donors can also increase their investment or create an endowment for a Saxon Circle Scholarship, which ensures that students are supported in perpetuity.
